Is there a frame of some sort that makes it fit on a pre 2009 Tourneo/Transit Connect? I`m not swapping my 2008 Tourneo Connect dash, so I`m just wondering what my options are? Currently have the 6000 CD fitted.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum :D

For 2006-2009 Connects. You require the earlier double din version shown below.

Thanks paul2012

And now a follow up question. In which models would you find this version? Is it a Bosch? It has a little Bosch watermark in the picture.

Thanks

WOW! what a hell of a project.

Quick question though - Is it possible to install the later shape dash into an 04 connect without all the crazy wiring? i.e. use the original clocks / switches etc?

Thanks 8)

2009-2013 Connect dash will fit a 2004 Connect.
Just trim the dash slightly to get your original instrument cluster to fit.

GEM programming instructions Ford IDS required.

Before connecting VCM/VCMII to vehicle.
Unplug GEM module.
disconnect toughbook/laptop from internet & then run IDS (by disconnecting from internet, IDS can't download vehicle's "As Built Data")
Once IDS has communicated with vehicle. Select Module programming & then Programmable module installation (PMI)
Select GEM, IDS will attempt to download "as built data" it will then give option to manually configure GEM module.
Select manual configuration & enter the following codes when instructed too. ( there are 3 programming codes to enter in - 1 at a time, shown in yellow box below)

Once done IDS with ask for module to be installed. At this point plug GEM module back in & follow instructions on IDS to complete process.

Now you have automatic wipers & headlights with Alarm :D
Paul have you still got the 3 code please

I've given it up as bad day job  There's just not enough room. :(

So bought this new one from Ford - Only available as a complete section from turbo to intercooler :?

Route it takes when fitted...

Buy the time you have air intake hose from filter box to turbo & PCV hose to cam cover in place. It's a tight squeeze hence why is has so many bends in it.

now I have a spare metal top boost pipe...
Good job I didn't order the rest of the silicone hoses - Pointless changing them leaving 1 as standard
Hi Paul have you got the part number
And have got the one for the airbox to trubo
