Limp mode, parts help

Postby Kingdom » Sat May 18, 2013 10:36 pm

Hi all

I have a 52 plate Connect TDCI T230 LX LWB PANEL VAN 1753cc DIESEL

Basically keeps going into limp mode usually after idling for a short while. Im not getting any lights come up on the dash (glow plugs etc) as most people say they are getting.
Had it checked for error codes and had P1344 Accelerator pedal sensor c and P1288 cylinder head temp sensor.
They were cleared and now just getting the P1344.
Do i need to buy a new pedal or can i just buy a sensor? or does the pedal come with the sensor?
should i look into the cylinder head sensor too?
Ive had the van about 4 months. Its my first vehicle and love it. im a new driver so still learning whats what. all help welcome. :D

I'd just get a new pedal to be honest. You could always try a second hand one first if you know te second hand one worked before it was removed. Make sure you get the same colour plug as your existing one though.

It's a complete assembly. Just plug and play. Only three bolts to remove it.
