2005 connect cutting out, limp mode

Good morning!
Please help...I'm at a loss, where to go next!
Fuel pump replaced 18months ago, plus all new injectors, new fuel filter and new throttle pedal.
Yet, the van still randomly keeps going into limp mode. Codes suggest egr valve or fuel pump but think that's an old code. The ecu unit been reset to make it think its got new ecu unit? Egr valve been disconnected but still doing it? Worse when under pressure, ie towing something?
Starts fine and doesn't always do it? Any ideas would be gratefully received

You say the F\pump & injectors was replaced, with what, new, re-con, used. was the system flushed when these were changed, maybe some swarf in the system from the old pump, also check wiring\connectors on back of H.P pump
Now you have had codes cleared run it till it does it again and then get the codes read again, best is to find someone with the proper Ford diagnostics tool then they can look deep into the system to see whats going wrong and where, it will save you money in the long run

would have to say that seeing the post is 4 1/2 yr old and he has'nt been back........he probably scrapped it and bought a caddy
