Blue transponder key, replace ignition lock

Hi, I recently bought an '04 connect. The ignition lock is a bit fiddly, so I bought a new one from ebay with two keys. I notice the original key has a blue transponder chip in it but the new keys don't. Before I fit the new lock, will it work if I keep the original key on the same key ring or do I have to do something more radical? Many thanks for your help!

Take one of your new ignition non transponder keys along with your blue tab key to a locksmith and get them to cut a new transponder key from the 2 or buy a new blue tab blank, get that cut and swap transponder over
