stiff clutch

Postby tconnectwayne » Thu Jul 03, 2014 7:45 pm

Hi I recently bought a transit connect tddi and to me the clutch pedal seems quite hard for a hydraulic one. Are they know for this or is there anything I can do to make it softer as it's does start to give me leg ache. But I did have acl reconstruction in that leg 2 month ago so that may just be me . Thanks in advance

2 months isn´t a long time after ligament damage/surgery m8. Mine took 6 months before I could kick a football and operate a clutch. Get somebody else to press it and see what they think. Mind u if they turn up in a pre 1980 car then maybe you might have another friend to use?

Yeah I suppose it is still early days yet after they operation but I could drive other cars okay . But just to update you I took the car to a friend and he fitted a new clutch and now it's very light and is a lot better on the leg haha.

This is good. Mine was SUPER heavy before I changed it. I as amazed after my clutch change - i had always assumed transits were this way.
