Far from it.
Hankook Optimo K406 195/65R15 91H (or reinforced 95T) are OE, and were fitted to countless
THOUSANDS of Connect T200 and T220/T230 vans.
I've just changed mine last week for another 4 Hankook because I rate them. The OPTIMO pattern has been superceded by newer tread patterns which are more high tech. Mine are even better than the old pattern.
Exactly what Hankook model & size have you had fitted?
This is what was on the online booking form;
2 x 195/65R15 95T HANKOOK K425 KINERGY XL
They are returning Friday to investigate and (hopefully) correct the problem.
Thanks for clearing this up.
These K425 KINERGY Eco XL are what I've had fitted, and I picked them because they were
BBB rated on the new Euro scale (Rolling Resistance, Wet Grip, and Noise). TBH I had to order them direct from the Hankook distributor at Northampton because the local dealers hadn't heard of 'em & wanted to fob me off with Firestone Multhawk (£5 a tyre cheaper maybe, but labelled
EEC)
The new breed of tyres have got a much higher % of silica to meet the Euro label standard. I'm really chuffed with them as they're definitely quieter, and the van seems to be a bit quicker on them. There's been no rain so haven't tried them out in the wet. I expect to crack the 50mpg barrier with these on the next long run

Vans are designed for people with imagination. Cars are so limiting ... what can you do with them?
