water pump replacement

hi all the van is booked into my good friend to do a complete service overhaul with timing belt but whilst we are there i am thinking about doing water pump, should i change it? engine has done 160k (57 plate 90PS tdci)

Might aswell. Timing belt has got to come off to get at it anyway.

thanks buddy

its getting new glow plugs, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter, oil filter, oil, brake fluid change, timing belt and water pump

anything else you suggest?

Timing belt tensioner too. Should come as part of the kit. Might want to get the idler pulley aswell seeing as the belts coming off. The bearings can fail and make a rachet then you'd have to take the belt off again.

Aux drive belt tensioner pulley too :wink:
