just put a used engine in my 2010 transit connect and won't start;;there is a little square box thing that was bolted to top of eng above belt has one wire plug in and the ground wire coming out of it broke off flush with it..[about size of a relay]..what is it and will it keep engine from starting since ground wire can't be hooked up to it?

Has this little square box thing got a part number on it, maybe from that we can identify it

part no#984T-16601-AB VERY hard to read so may be wrong;;will have someone younger to read it for me
