Wheel Bearing Noise

Postby Cherry_tree » Mon Nov 17, 2014 11:17 pm

I have a transit connect 75ps on a 52 plate

I have a noise coming from the front, it sounds like a worn wheel bearing, its not that!
it is constant noise at any speed, turning left or right, clutch in/out, braking or not. if i jack it up and spin the wheels, the drivers side is quiet, if i spin the passenger side theres a noise coming from the cv boot closest to the gearbox.
could it be the cv joint or a drive shaft bearing

Thanks Jim

both wheel bearing have been done in the last 2 months.

Probably is both or one of them.
