Clutch replacement done.

Postby DJLes » Wed Nov 19, 2014 8:20 pm

Went to a local garage yesterday to someone I know vaguely, said he could do it this morning. Said he always puts the full LUK clutch kit on, not just the clutch. A wee bit more expensive, but worth it in the long run. Instead of £110 it was £148 + labour £120 + VAT = total £321.

Dropped the van off at 8:15am this morning, got a call at 12:30pm, job done! :D

Clutch is much lighter now, don't need legs like Garth to operate it.

Yep, I believe so. It's the bit inside the bell housing AFAIK.
