loss of power

when out to a connect today loss of pwer and holds a 3000 rpm any way took it out put me foot down responsive upto 3000 rpm then dies then change gear fly then touchs 3000rpm the dies

pluged in to diagnostics and got



P0089-71 FUEL PRESSURE
P0490-71 EGR

couldnt do leak off for the injectors as took the wrong stuff it has siemans injectors not delphi ones which i thought it did #

this is an 07 and 82000 on the clock

hi, I had the exact same symptoms as you after changing the fuel filter, i looked in my haynes manual and it said to hold down the yellow button where you screw in the fuel filter, for few seconds to reset.... did this and the engine behaved itself, may be worth a shot

this is running fine again loads of power and responsive

a full service sorted it
