Hi
i have a ford transit connect 2004 .
for some time know it losses power going up hills, OK on the flat, i have to give it plenty of power on the flat to get up the hill, there is no smoke coming out the back, the engine is very quite no rattle or noise, any ideas please

75ps? Could try blanking the EGR, fit a performance air filter, some have said this has helped.

If its a tddi you can turn the turbo up via a screw on the back of the turbo but do not do it more than 2 half turns

Only real option for more grunt is a remap for TDDI 75ps models, anything else will make it a little more responsive but no power gain.

Proven mods are:
Blank EGR (doesnt work on all models)
Performance air filter
Focus airbox
De-cat
Remap

Well it did take the lag out of 2nd and give a little better fuel. Didn't think tddi could be remapped as there not fully electric on up to 05 afak. Though de cat and egr ect were more for tdci

Yes they can, and with good results, but only by the right tuner who knows what he's doing
