i have a connect 2004 i would like to know
if i should run out diesel some time do i need
to bleed it or is it self prime
if i need to do it hows it done

Your solution to your problem is DONT RUN OUT OF FUEL. SIMPLE EH :roll: :roll: :roll:

If your in the unfortunate situation where you have run out of fuel then yes you do have to bleed the system, there is a hand pump that fits on the fuel feed from tank to filter to drag the fuel up to fill the filter
As others have siad it best not to run low / out of fuel

I use my 1/4 tank as my empty mark and never go below it.

This isn't a silly question IMO, particularly when you've walked miles to a garage & are still marooned.

I don't know how to do this. It isn't in my handbook as it should be..... and I'VE ACTUALLY GOT A HANDBOOK. :oops:

Can someone post a pic of this lifesaver?

THANKYOU..... but not sure what to look for on that last pic (bleeding the fuel system after an epic rebuild).
