Hi I'm new to the forum, I'm picking up my lwb high top this week. I've seen a set of 18" st alloys for sale locally they are 8x18 rear and 7.5x18 front with 225 40 18 tyres, will they go straight on? I noticed the arches seem to have a lot of room.

Yes they will fit on, but double check the tyres are load rated, and before wasting your money on "transit 18" ms design alloys" have a little read around the forum they are a waste of money, and are made of cheese! enough said!
