Heater/blower not working.

Postby allmodcons79 » Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:35 am

Hi,
I have recently bought a connect 1.8 diesel 2004 plate. It had 12 months mot and the body work was really good for it's age. It was only when i got it home that i noticed the blower was not working, i have looked on-line and they all point to checking FUSE 64 ( 30 amp ) that is supposed to be located in the battery junction box in the engine bay. The only problem i have with this is THERE ISN'T ONE????

Anybody out there had the same issue as i am stumped on what to do next ?

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

Is it not working at all?

The usual problem is the resistor pack on top of the motor goes which means you only get number 4 power working.

It's worth checking ALL of the fuses in ALL of the boxes, because Ford have a habit of changing the fuse locations
1994 Mk4 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (R.I.P.)
1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)
2004 Mk6 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.0 TDDi - Vantunered (Also gone)
2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered
