Central locking issue

Postby ipbr21054 » Fri Nov 20, 2015 6:33 pm

Hi,
I have just purchased a Connect 2007.
It only came with 2 keys which have blue inserts in the top of them.
However there were no remote fobs supplied.
So i have purchased 2 new remotes from a well know site but having an issue trying to pair them.
0 to II 8 times within 10 seconds did not cycle the door locks.
I have even done this 10 times but no difference.
Can you confirm if i am doing this correct or does this connect have the ability to lock/unlock with the 3 button fob that i have just purchased.
Square fob 2 black buttons / 1 blue button
If its ok i can advise chassis / vin here for you to check it out ?

Hi,
I did read a few but i didnt see that one.

Looking on that page and entering my vin there is no mention of Central Locking.
As its dark now i wont be able to check the box under the dash.

Having said that looking on that well known site i do see a box with the detailed shown below.
2T1T-15K600-BD
It also has the markings CL DL RC

I am not sure if my connect has an alarm,so would this box be suitable, i mean is there such a box as CL RL AS ?

You'd have to check your box to see if you have an alarm but whatever box you choose Aslong as its for your model of van e.g. Pre 2013 when they changed it completely it should work.

Today i have looked behind the panel in N/S & O/S footwell but see no box.
I did notice that this connect has wind up windows if that makes a difference ?

I didn't see anything behind the N/S kick panel and I only popped the glove box out, didn't remove it completely.
I did see the fuse box.
I will look again tomorrow.

When the plugs are removed for when I fit the other box do I need to know anything like getting radio code etc ?

i only took the glove box out for more light but you access it from under the dash it is hidden well, i didn't disconnect my battery because i don't have my radio code i just unplugged the both plugs and tested them in the box and the locking made a noise straight away so i done the programming and was fully working within 2 minutes I'm yet to remove the old box and pop the new one in place just held in by 2 bolts

Hi,
YES you are correct, its well hidden away & didnt even see it with head in glove box hole.
The item found is as shown below.

A couple of question if i may.
The 2 updated box's from this one is RC / AS
1,
Can either of the below be bought, depending on availability etc & work.
CL DL RC or CL DL RC AS
Currently when doors are unlocked with the key, indicators just glow.
Using the box with AS would you then get the beep beep like on my MK6 transit ?
2,
By unplugging/pluggin in the new box does anything happen with radio code etc ?

Indicators will flash when deadlocking doors via key or remote fob

CL DL on label. you have central locking with dead locking.

CL DL RC on label. Is central locking with dead locking with remote control (remote central locking)

CL DL RC AS on label. you have central locking with dead locking with remote control (remote central locking) & Alarm

Central locking module can be easily replaced without having to disconnect battery. So it will not effect radio.

Get this one & fit it. Then you hall remote central locking
