hi, the old van failed the MOT :roll:

could somebody tell me if the catalytic exhaust section of exhaust will slide out without having to remove anything else on a 2003 model
was under having a look & looks a bit tight,

Yes, undo bolts at manifold then undo from main section underneath

is that section the exact same in the mk1 focus does anyone know?

Try googling Mk1 Focus cat and compare with the Connect. Engines are basically the same but exhaust isnt, not sure about the cat but I'd be surprised if it was.

Ive tried that but some show it is and some show it isnt

My flexi section has broke on the van and was going to maybe replace with the focus one albeit if i can get the bolts off

Another option which ive read is do away with the cat section for a straight pipe to improve a bit of power, my is a 70 van and any little bit of ectra power is welcome, has many done this?
