Right .... Before I jump in with both feet here.

I have the chance of a 06 focus with a 1.8TDCI 115bhp.

I want to be 100% before I jump in that as my connect is a 75bhp can I drop the complete engine inc injectors and pump out the focus straight into my van and as it is the newer injectors and pump set up run them off my ecu?

Also if I can do that will the current ecu run the engine at the 75bhp or the 115bhp not sure on the differences between injectors/turbo etc between the two engines if any.

I couldnt find the engine code on the engine, normally it is on a sticker on the rocker but I couldnt see it (if that is where it is) but is the 115bhp a KKDA engine code.

As I say I just want to make certain that I cab use the engine out of the focus before jumping in.

2006 Focus (mk2) 115ps has KKDA engine.

Yes it will fit any Connects from 2006-2013. Both use Siemen fuel systems.

Fit your Connects original injectors, turbo & inlet manifold to the Focus KKDA engine. :!:
No need to change fuel pump as they are the same

Engine will run at 75ps. Due to calibration installed onto Connects PCM (engine ECU)

Morning Paul,

Thanks for getting back to me mate i appreciate the help!

Smashing that's great .... I am hoping I can get it as it would make my life a hell of alot easier and it means I can get the van on the road in the next couple of weeks that way.

I am pleased the pump can stay in place as they seem to be a bit of a chew on to get off.

Out of curiosity of the injecotrs and pump etc are the same would it not be better to leave the original injecotrs etc on the engine rather than striping them off and replacing them with mine?

Just playing devils advocate here (not doubting your knowledge) .... in the past experience I have had mainkly with Vaxhall diesels they don't like being disturbed and going back together if it can be helped.

The timing cover has a KKDA sticker on it so I presume all is well?

Hi I know this is an old post but I need so e advice relating to this. I have an 08 connect with r3pa engine code with bottom end knock and also a cmax I was going to scrap due to needing a flywheel. The cmax engine runs mint and only has 70k miles and is engine code kkda. I have removed both engines to swap but they look different. My question is what do I need to swap so that I can drop the lump back in? Any help would be much appreciated
