connect front panel

Postby ru548 » Fri Apr 29, 2016 8:44 pm

had a slight bump in my 54 plate connect, not going through insurance, but i need to replace the front panel, bonnet catch, grille etc?
can't open bonnet yet but i was wondering if the front panel is bolted on or do i need to weld the replacement on?
have never stripped a connect front end so any advice would be helpful

They are bolted into place

***NOTE*** There are 2 types fo front slam panels available for 2003-2006 Connects.

1. GRP panel with steel reinforcement behind it. (2 piece slam panel)
2. single piece steel slam panel.
