how to change fuel filter

hi i have a 2004 conect tdci i want to know the correct way to change the fuel filter please

Its a while since i did one.
I think the connectors on the top should release by squeezing them. There will be a small bolt or screw holding the flter in the carrier.
Fill the new filter up with clean diesel and refit.
Maybe make note which way the 3 pipes connect.
