Rear hand break

I have had a new hand break cable fitted , new discs, and new break pads ,(all by garage ) yet hand break is not holding firm , van still moves with hand break on full ................any suggestions as to the problem....its a connect 2009

go and do some heavy braking ,see if they bed in, if not take it back

when you pull on the hand brake how many clicks are there dose it go from down to all the way up right to the top if yes hand brake cable need adjusting

heavy breaking wont help rear hand break .......................Hand break lever comes up 5 clicks , pads are bedded in , but still not holding firm.......van has been back to garage twice for same thing , bloody garage is useless

heavy braking may work with shoes wont work with pads got to be at the brake pad end

check your brake discs are they solid or are they honeycombed

found the problem , caliper was cased , so replaced both calipers

replaced both rear calipers , now pad pins do not locate on the new caliper
