Making a comfortable experience for the Mrs.

Postby MrDibley » Thu Mar 23, 2017 9:27 pm

Greeting folks.
I have just got my new van and the Mrs has problems with her seat. My question is, Is it possible to replace the passenger seat with something comfortable and adjustable. In the long term I am looking to add a passenger air bag as She is not got a great life policy. :D

I assume your 2010 model has the folding passenger seat ?

If so, a passenger seat from a Tourneo Connect will be a direct fit, or a drivers seat from a left hand steer van.

Thanks friend, I will look to find one of those. It is a folding type, I will be taking the cage out too.

Only Connect seats are a straight fit so full size from a Tourneo is only option but many have fitted seats from other cars by fitting plates or modifying the feet. Previously I had a pair of heated/cooled seats from a Mondeo Titanium. Front mounts fitted ok but had to make some plates for the rears.

My Ex Eon 08 came with a full passenger seat, must have been a Ford option.

So did mine. It's standard for a rigid bulkhead as folding has no function.
