Connect ABS...

not had chance to get under proper on the van yet... but whilst swapping the wheels I noticed a wire going to the rear drum... at 1st I thought some kind of pad warning!... but then realised after looking at wheel bearings, it could be abs... but I thought only abs was on rear disc'ed cars... what's the wire for??

It is for the ABS and traction control, if fitted. It monitors the tone ring which is part of the rear wheel bearing.

All Connects from 2006 onwards have ABS as standard

It's an 05, rear drums, but has abs light on dash... dearer wheel bearings LOL
