2017 Connect... Anyone own one?

Postby RussC73 » Sun May 14, 2017 3:05 pm

I currently own a 2014 Transit Custom and i am looking to down size and i like the look of the new custom.
Does anyone own one and what are your thoughts?
How does it drive, best engine option etc..

Thanks

Russ

If you can fit all your kit in a Connect then it's a better option imo.

After the recent govt turn round on diesel, l'd be tempted to go for the petrol engine version.

I'd certainly consider it if it wasn't the weedy 3 pot 100ps version.

I decided to buy a 240 L2 connect in frozen white - 1.5 TDI 120ps - Limited
Only covered 150 miles, however i have to say its a great van.

Removed all the ply lining and covered it with commercial vehicle carpet to help insulate.

Going to be fitting my Sterling battery to battery charger this week and need a little help with feeding a cable through the bulkhead to attach to the van battery, can anyone help with this?
