Alloy wheel nut help

Evening all.

So i have purchased a set of 18" mondeo ST alloys. I know I need to get specific nuts for the alloys as the nuts that I have for the steel rims shouldn't be used as they will damage the alloy wheel.

So i know I need the following -
PCD – 5 x 108
Thread Size – M12 x 1.5
Hex Size – 19mm
Seat Type – Tapered

My question is, do I need the alloy wheel nuts with Captive Washers on them or not? How I am supposed to find this out?

For example, I have found this information - Ford alloy wheel nuts are different to many standard nuts. These nuts are designed specifically for Ford alloy wheels. There is a captive washer giving the seat a diameter of 28mm, approx 4-5mm wider than most other nuts.

This is the listing for the alloy nuts I have found. Do others that have used genuine Ford alloys use the nuts with captive washers as well? Did those with Ford alloys even know about this? Or are you using stand M12 x 1.5 tapered nuts not knowing that they should be nuts with a captive washer?
