removed cage, passenger seat now leans back

Postby MrDibley » Wed May 31, 2017 8:51 am

Hello.
i am going to turn this into a day van at some point, so removed the cage. Now the passenger seat leans quite far back.
I can't see a mechanism for locking it. Do I need to get a different seat?
it is a t230 made in 2010
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

its a camper, not quite a full conversion but enough to sleep in. I want to remove the cage to make a bed. I have seen it done, i was hoping to use the existing seat for a bit but it looks like it rests on the cage :)

I have the german version of a 2008 Connect (I'm sitting on the wrong side  ) and i changed the cage against the pipe protector to convert it to a small camper. I thing your seat is defect because mine works very well without the cage.
