Connect has strange handling at times

When driving fairy slowly with not much weight in the van it has a strange feeling. It feels as if the van is following any small ridge or bump in the road.
It doesn't cause the van to go all over the road however it can be slightly unnerving at times.
The tracking is probably slightly out as I need to replace the near side front tyre as its worn the inside edge. Could this be the course of the strange feeling I get driving on uneaven roads etc? Or is there more to this issue? I haven't had time to get under the van to see if I can find anything wrong yet.
Has anyone else had the same problem? If so what was the problem & how easy was it to rectify?

Only thing i can think of is tyres and tracking, you can jack up each front wheels and check if there's any play, replace worn tyres in pairs and inflated to the correct pressure, do 4 wheel laser wheel alignment.
