A quick guide on doing a 2009 onwards facelift conversion

Firstly if your slam panel is a steel one like this.....

Front bumper
Top Grille -Platinum F5144239 / Black F5225716
Top grille support/reinforcer F5040709
Top grille & Support retaining washers F5028061
Bumper support/stiffener - F4992893
Lower grille F5086088
Bonnet Trim - Crome F5080822 / Black F5062458
Radiator Air ducting (Optional) F5136252, F5008282 & F4980753
Rear Lights

2006 Parts
Front wheel arch trims RH F5081728 & LH F5081729
Foglights F1209177 with H11 bulbs
Lower bumper rubber stone deflector - 2 parts F1476556 & F1476558
Stone deflector securing pins F1007932
Bonnet lock key barrel F1491607

Before you Start, replace bumper support/stiffener with new one. It will then allow new bumper to clip onto it at the centre. Stops bumper sagging in the centre distorting bottom of top grille

If your connect is a 2000 - 2006 model. Fit a replace bonnet lock. MUST be for a 2006-2013 model as key barrel is longer.

Assemble bumper - Fit top grille 1st then support/reinforcer behind it, secure in place with retaining washers. Both grilles & top grille support must be fitted before mounting bumper to vehicle.
Mount both foglights & lower grille.

Fit bumper making sure it seated correctly & bolt into place - 4 bolts, 2 in centre & 1 each side. Secure top grille support/reinforcer to slam panel at the top.

Fit both wheel arch trims, clips into place & bolted to bumper with 1 bolt each side
Remember to refit screws to secure wheel well liner & then fit stone deflector both sides.

OPTIONAL - You may want to fit air ducting for radiator.

Ducting is in 3 parts. all 3 parts clip together, bottom section clips to bumper then radiator support. " sides secured to replacement bumper support each side with 1 screw.

Remove bonnet badge, weld & fill recess. Then repaint bonnet

Fit bonnet trim - simply peel off backing & stick on. Fit towing eye caps, No plate & Job is completed

2009 Onwards rear lights - MUST come complete with bulb holders
These are a direct fit. Simply remove, unplug old units & fit new ones

2006 Onwards Body side mouldings. Simply peel off backing & stick on
