Charging system fault

Postby allvtec » Sun Jul 16, 2017 8:51 pm

Im have a 2017 transit connect xlt wagon for 3 weeks now. Yesterday I was on the highway and the battery level started dropping causing a systematic shutdown of all essential electrical systems AC followed by steering radio then everything went haywire every warning light came on and electrical dropped to nothing leaving me stranmded with a dead battery. Has anyone heard of or experienced this?? Just want to know if I am just the only lucky recipient of the Ford boobie prize...

Welcome to the forum, I've moved your post to the Connect section for you 8)

I don't think it's a common problem on a 2017 van, certainly none of the 3 in my family have had this. Surely it's a case of warranty :?: :?

Thanks for the reply. I guess Ill just wait and see what the problem is. The sales manager at the dealership let me use his own Platinum Flex fully loaded because they couldnt get me a loaner so I guess life could be worse LOL
