Fog Light Blanks

Hi, just thinking of putting daytime running lights in the fog light blanks on my 2010 Connect facelift. Do you have to cut these blanks out or do they unclip, I think it is probably the former after a quick look, but I reckon someone on here will have gone down this road! Thanks
