Diesel leak

Postby Kirbo » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:22 pm

Hi, I have a 2007 transit connect and have found that diesel is leaking from the injector? I'm a wood butcher and clueless with mechanics. I've attached a picture of where it leaks.
Question is, will it most likely be a seal that has gone. If so is it straight forward to change myself?

Thanks for your time.

Hard to see but from my experience with Transit Connect a rubber O ring on a return line or a high pressure pipe came lose

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've taken a closer picture to see if that helps at all. The part that is bolted into the engine weaps diesel between the part and the engine mount when the engine is running. (don't know the names, sorry)

Is it likely a failed o ring? If so, what is the name of the part I'm after?

Thanks
