Waxoyl sills

Postby fatladandy » Sun Sep 24, 2017 5:26 pm

I am looking to waxoyl the insides of the sills on my connect. I am guessing i can do it though the holes on the sills.

The question is, how do i get it into the holes?

Shultz gun with a fexie spray tube on mine I purchase the gun as a kit with one tin of waxoil that screwed on the gun and a 5 lt can of waxoil and kept topping up can that fits the gun I also put the 5 lt can in a bucket of boiling water to thin it out goes on really well you may use more then 1 tin I did with the jumbo but it’s 11years old and stiff no welding

Need to do mine at some point

The op only has a wee connect so the pump thing should be ok for that :P g
Fast parts or jb components might be the best place to get the kit from. N

I've been drilling in and spraying into the sills.
I pulled the lining away from the RH wall and got an air drill in with a 17mm holesaw, put in 3 holes and liberally sprayed.
I removed the N/S slide door step trim and got another 3 holes under there.
Next is to pull the front matting away and do the same.

Just hope it's worth the ag.
