Interior light doesn't come on when you open doors.

Hello all, I have a 2012 transit connect xlt and the interior light doesn't come on when you open any of the doors.It can come on when you manually turn it on.Have any of you come across this before?

This may or may not be any help, but there were some posts on here a while back about a similar problem, and it was solved by pulling a fuse for the BCM, letting it power down, and then refitting. This allows the BCM to reset
You may need to have a search around to find the relevant posts
I'm not sure if disconnecting the battery for a few minutes would achieve the same effect, but possibly worth a try

I had this, but it was just the fuse, can't remember which though.
