Hi all, I've been having a go at this for a number of weeks during my spare time and have searched extensively on here although theres not much info on the 2009-2013 connect remote locking issues. I've made some progress however ild really appreciate if someone can help me get over the final herdal.
My fob stoped working so I tried the programming guide on here by Paul2012 (thanks paul) and although I got the chime from the dash I wasn't getting the chime when I pushed the key fob buttons. From a previous poster on here i knew i needed to check if my remote key was sending aRF signal to the van so I tuned my analogue tv to 433mhz and pushed my remote and nothing happened. I tried a key from my brothers car and when I pushed it I could see on screen his key was sending a signal so I knew my key wasn't sending a signal. I guessed that when changed the key battery last time I must have disturbed the metal prongs around the battery so I gently adjusted them put the key back together, tested on the tv and could now tell my remote is sending a signal. So back in the van I went and started the programming sequence. I got the first chime from dash to indicate its in programming mode and then my face lit up when I heard second chime when I pushed the key fob lock button so I exited programming as per guide but I get no response from the remote locking which is weird as I know the for sending a signal and the van can read it.
Forgot to mention the central locking works fine in drivers door with the key(only keyed lock on van- also its a hykee replock)
Old be very greatfull if there is anything anyone can think of that may help as I'm worried if the drivers lock fails I'll be completely locked out of the van
Many thanks gents
