Transit Connect no communication with RCM airbag module 2015

Hi there,

Can Anyone point me in the right direction for a thread if this has been already covered?

I have a 2015 Transit connect which has had an accident, the airbags have deployed, all have now been replaced however when reading the airbag ecu to clear data found the crash data wouldn't clear so I bought another on eBay.

I'm using Focom software so when plugged in the new unit communication was fine however after I changed the vin in the ecu to match i'm unable to communicate with the module.

I've had a good look around for fuses blown and can't find any blown communication doesn't work between speedo or abs unit so canbus is pulling up codes.

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for the vehicle or more info to help?

Just to let you guys know I've got to the bottom of the issue

The replacement module was no good, I didn't realise that the unit earths out on the body .

So weather that unit was earthing out or it is actually part of the wiring design someone else will proberely tell us.

I sent the original unit off for clearing the data and testing came back spot on.

All fitted back in a nuts tight earthed correctly, com's is back.
