Postby Spikey19531953 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 7:15 pm

Hi all,

Hope you guys can shed a bit of light on my problem

I have taken my connect 2006 tddi to my local garage after i had fuel pump problems. ive got it back after repair and it runs rough on idle along with when i put my foot on the accelerator softly it judders like mad, its fine when i put my foot down turbo kicks in and flys like a rocket with out a problem.

It feels like the timing is out but garage have said they haven't touched the timing belt and i never had this problem before the pump was taken off and put back on

thanks in advance spike.

As Karl says. The pump pulley has to be removed to get the pump off so they must have messed with the timing. Sounds like the old garage tip-ex and 4" nail to lock the cam, timing job.
