Mine has a hot oil smell after a run when I get out of it. Never worked out why.
I am confident all oil leaks are fixed.

It is perfectly normal to have a fair bit of oil residue in the pipes and intercooler. Inspect the intercooler in situe and see if there is any oil weeping from any of the corners, or around the edges of it. I had this problem, and the intercooler had a leak down the side where the plastic meets the alloy, and oil was seeping out of there, and dripping onto the hot rad pipes. Cleaned all the pipes out, and replaced the intercooler. Was not expensive either!

This must be oil spat out of the turbo bearings then?

Nah, just residue from the air. Mine had what i thought was a little too much in the bottom of the intercooler, but i replaced the intercooler for a new one as it was split, and in the process had all the air hoses off and cleaned them up. I checked the turbo and its really dry and clean. You would soon tell if it was too much oil (ie turbo problems) as the engine will start to burn it off.
