Central locking fob.

Postby stugordon » Sat Dec 16, 2017 9:03 pm

Hi. I e replaced my old 03 plate LWB connect with slightly newer 07 plate. The key fob on new van is broken where the loop is to attach to key ring. It still works ok but is doing my head in as I know I'll loose it at some point.
I know from doing my old van that programming the key fob is piss easy it I've been thinking how useful it would be if I can have the same fob operate both vans. I know it's possible to have more than one fob programmed into the vehicle.
Would one fob work both vans ?? I can't think why it wouldn't work but I no Electrition so does anyone if this will wrk.
Thanks

No. Fob will work on 1 van only. Once I has been programmed to another van, It will no longer work on the previous van It was programmed to.

Thanks for confirming they won't work on two vans.
I've got a new fob on route to me as I can see me loosing the one I have as the loop to connect it to a key ring has broken.
