Fuel pump question.

Hi new to the forum, if I’m in the wrong place let me know.
I have a ‘03 transit connect 1.8tddi the fuel pump decided to give out. I am told it is the electrical part of the pump.
I have found another pump with the same Bosch number 0470004006. And the code below it which is ys6q9a543 sy. On my origanal pump the code is the same apart from being sy it is rd. Does anybody know if those two letters mean anything and makes it not compatible. Also the new pump and been virginised/decoded. So should it just be plug and play where it will code itself?
