Help Needed Fitting My Focus ST170 Seats please...

Evening All, I am in need of some help please. My Connect is a 2011. I have managed to get hold of some Focus ST170 half leathers. I have removed my standard Connect seats which don’t have pretensioners fitted to them. The only wires coming out of the floor of the van are 2 wires that run to the seat belt buckle retainer on the drivers seat. I believe it tells the van that the seat belt is plugged in. I have been speaking to another forum member that has been unbelievable helpful and has given me all the details to the plates I need to make to get them in. The problem I have is under my ST seats there is a bunch of wires and I need to find out which ones are for the up and down button and which 2 connect to the seat belt indicator. I don’t really want to start hacking at the vans wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Ross

If you get stuck, it may be possible to switch off the seat belt warning

I can't help with the pre tensioner question sorry, but if you've got some details of the plates you need for fitting st170 seats is there any chance you could let me have them too as I've got a pair of seats sat in the garage ready to fit into my van. Cheers

Mate it isn’t an easy job... I have started fitting today and it is going to be a slow process to get it perfect... it’s all about templating and taking your time and not needing to rush.. good luck

Seatbelt minder can easily turned off.

Connects from 2009 -2013 do have seatbelt pretensioners. They are built into seatbelt reel itself.

The one to watch out for is side impact airbags fitted tot the Connects seats. (Not all models have them)
