No longer permitted to fit HID bulbs to halogen H/Lamp units

For members that have fitted HID bulbs to Halogen headlamp units.

HID bulbs fitted to halogen headlamp units are NOT permitted & as of 20th May 2018 will result in MOT refusal

If you wish to use HID then you should replace halogen headlamp unit for a HID headlamp unit

It's never been allowed here. Even if you bought HID compatible clusters you'd have to have automatic self-leveling system installed.
