Fitting Tow Bar Electrics... Help Needed

Postby Rossco701 » Tue Jan 30, 2018 8:45 pm

Good evening All. I am in need of some help please. I have fitted a tow bar to the Connect and was going to give it a go at fitting the electrics. After reading about the 7 way bypass relay and the CAN-bus wiring that the Connect has it has worried me a little. Can anyone give me any advice on doing the job, should I give it a wide birth and let a professional do it. Many thanks Rossco

Hello Rossco,
Here is a link to the PF Jones website. Please pay particular attention to the four lines of text under the diagram of the bypass relay. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/advice-centre ... trics.html

Good practice or not, I direct wired my 08.
No problems thus far.
