Connect Side Door Help...

Good evening All, I have a 2011 Connect. When unlocking the van with the key fob the side door doesn’t unlock. If I open the side door from inside the van it will open and close from the handle on the outside, as soon as I lock it with the key fob it locks it’s self up and the handle is no longer usable. And help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Are you pressing the unlock button twice quickly?

Do you have one or two sliding doors? Is it the same for both?
If only one, check pin connectors on front edge of door, are they all clean? Also do the pins reach out far enough to contact the mating plate. I had a problem and had to space out the connector to reach.
If that does not work, suspect faulty lock module
