Remove middle pot exhaust?

Hello,
I wanna remove the middle pot exhaust from my Ford Transit Connect 2009. Will it be much louder ? More or less power ? Do I have to change that on the control unit after removing ?

The new MOT rules coming into force soon may have some bearing on exhaust tampering. Do your research first or you might have to put it back as original to pass.

Yes as of May20th 2018 new MOT rules are being introduced.

EGR valves will be inspected for obvious signs of tampering ( eg blanking plate fitted)or been removed completely will classed as a MAJOR defect = MOT refusal
Same goes for removal or tampering with DPF, Diesel oxidation cat & SCR cat.
