the reason i ask is because i let someone have tdci clock to put in a tddi and they don't work but work great in the van i have

well he will have to get some tddi ones

its a bit weried that the van is a 2006 and a tddi but then again its a x royal mail van

Yes Connect TDCI instrument cluster will work on a TDDI. - BUT only early 2000-2006 Clusters.

One from 2006-2009 Connect won't work in a 2000-2006 connect & vice versa due to communication protocols between cluster & PCM.
(SCP on early Connects & HS-CAN from 2006 onwards) :wink:
