What power? - tddi with intercooler and turbo

Postby Shitblast » Mon Mar 19, 2018 12:33 am

My Connect has an intercooler in the front that says Ford turbo intercooled. It's an Endura DI engine, with a sticker that says 75 PS. The wikipedia-article on the Endura DI says the engine produces 90 PS when intercooled. May be a stupid question, but which is it?

If it's the TDDi engine (no wires on the injectors) the power in the Connect will be 75ps.
The same Endura Di engine fitted in the Focus is 90ps, due to different mapping, so you can get the Connect remapped to 90ps easily :)

Yes that engine is a Euro 3 TDDI 75ps - Connect TDDI's are all 75ps as standard.

 Connect 90ps are TDCI
