Injector Coding Confusing Instruction.

Postby axxeman » Wed Mar 21, 2018 8:07 pm

Hi all - whilst waiting for my replacement injectors to arrive, I started reading up on the coding how-to guides and came across this;

"Before programming/coding injectors it is necessary to wean the vehicle at least 8 hours."

What on earth does that mean? It came from here; https://www.diagnoses.biz/data/mediablo ... nfo-en.pdf

Wtf :?: when I put new injectors in my mk6 I just fitted the injectors and programmed them straight away then went for a drive, make sure you program them correctly, how do you wean an engine?. N

I'm assuming they are Delphi? just fit and code them. Take it for a run to check they are ok, if not running right then code them again as sometimes it can take a couple of goes.

Yeah they are - and I have heard about the multiple coding issues. Thanks.
