2018 Connect Windscreen Washers

Postby The Saint » Sun May 13, 2018 7:22 am

Hey all, I’ve just bought myself a new connect to replace my ageing Kangoo. Loving the van apart from the windscreen washers and wiper set up and I wonder if anyone else has the same problems as I do?

When I wash the windscreen the fluid makes it on to the screen as it should but when I go round a comer afterwards my bonnet gets soaked with what’s ever left in the pipes as it runs out of the jets, this isn’t normal right ? Also, when the left wiper come down after it’s sweep it seems to flick what ever fluid it’s gathered on its travels over the bonnet also. Again this can be right either ?

What do your vans do ??

Does the same kinda thing as the missus's 2015 Focus. The setup is very similar. Annoying, but don't think there is a way round it...?

I have a 16 plate connect and mine does as it should ,just on the windscreen and not all over the bonnet.
