Hi All
Noticed in this really hot spell if the outside temp is above 24 deg c my air con doesn't seem to
be as cool as normal. Anyone else found the aircon not powerful enough to cope at high external
temps?
Anyone had a regas on the aircon and how much did it cost?

If you have a cabin air filter, make sure it's clean, and if it's OK, then get the gas levels checked. It costs anything between £35-£50 round here for a regas, but possibly only a few quid for them to just check the level.
Some places (who will remain nameless, but the words Kwik and Fit spring to mind!) will charge you for a regas even if you don't need it, so try and watch what they're up to

Al is spot on with all that. Does sound like it needs a top-up. If done correctly, gas should be drained, oil contents and dye checked, re-filled to correct quantity - which i believe is around 0.8 - 0.9KG. Then pressure tested.
