I usually trawl Ebay for my filters. I have a local Ford dealer, but theirs are always top price
Often some online dealers are selling genuine Ford at reasonable prices, not much more than the cheap questionable ones, which I'm never tempted to buy

Delphi should be OK, I can't advise on the Crosland, as I've never used them :|

Delphi HDF924 if you have Delphi system. About £23 from Evilbay. DON'T get the 924E as it is a coarser filter inside (hence half the price!)

Before you change the filter start and run engine for a minute , fill new one with diesel and swap then start engine but don't rev until 30secs has past
DON'T JUST PUT FILTER ON WITH OUT PREFILLING IT FRIST OR YOU'LL NEED TO BLEED THE BUGGER

Yep - what he said above. Fill new filter with diesel and put caps back on pipes to stop you spilling. Swap filters. Reconnect three pipes and make sure clips are fully engaged. Start engine and let idle for a few minutes then, ideally, take it for a short run to make sure any/all air is gone.

Total time to do swap is less than 15 minutes - probably 10.

If I don't have any diesel fuel kicking about, I fill the new filter with diesel injector cleaner instead
